La Reserve - Gastes

There's no getting away from it, La Reserve is a simply beautiful holiday destination. As it's name suggests, it feels almost like a sophisticated retreat, a place to go to unwind, relax and fully recharge the batteries.

The parc is packed with outstanding facilities. There are indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides and a stack of play facilities that will keep everyone entertained. There are concealed walks to uncover and cycle routes to explore, and those who venture further afield will discover a sprawling region that offers a new environment around every turn.

Arguably, La Reserve's best feature is it's own on-parc beach providing stunning views (and romantic sunsets) over Lake Biscarosse. The beach never gets overly busy so there's always plenty of room to relax, build sand castles, play volleyball or even take a paddle.

For the more energetic you'll find a variety of watersports from banana boats to windsurfing. On a summers evening the beach serves as the ideal location - with the lakeside bar and stunning views, where better to relax with a glass of chilled rose and enjoy the sunset.

Camping la Palombiere - Sarlat

Camping la Palombière is set amidst rolling hills and unspoilt countryside between the Dordogne and Vezère Valleys. The enthusiastic owners, Nadia and Eric Braizet have created an impressive 'four red tent' Michelin rated wooded parkland campsite, which is an ideal location for a relaxing family holiday. The well-stocked shop, oak beamed bar and gourmet restaurant are housed in old stone farm buildings which have been tastefully restored whilst maintaining their original rustic charm. Stone paths take you through the site and past colourful flower beds to our emplacements which are scattered amongst mature oak trees. Relax by the swimming pool with two twisting waterchutes or join one of the canoe excursions from site.

Les Roulottes des Monedieres - Correze

Les Roulottes des Monedieres is a peaceful park nestled in an orchard, with a lakeside setting. This is a quiet park with good facilities including a heated indoor pool, bicycle hire and fishing. Enjoy a delicious meal at the welcoming restaurant which serves a range of pastas and pizzas.

Set in the heart of a national park, the local area offers a wealth of treasures to explore. The park is around 800 metres from the pretty town of Chamberet, with a range of useful facilities. Take a relaxing stroll though Treignac (7mls), which is regularly voted as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The fierce river Vezere runs through the town and is perfect for watching expert canoe and kayak descents.

Bonne Anse Plage - Palmyre

Bonne Anse Plage, located just 600m from the beach, is ideal for a family holiday. The emplacements are scattered amongst fragrant pine trees, which provide welcome shade from the sun. The facilities are grouped together at the site entrance and include a fabulous swimming pool with colourful twisting slides and a separate pool for the children.

Enjoy a meal on the terrace of the restaurant before retiring to the bar, where discos are held twice a week in high season. Active holidaymakers will enjoy the impressive sports facilities on offer, including a multi sport area and an impressive 18-hole mini golf course. If you want to venture further afield, why not hire a bike on site and head into the forest, where there are many cycle paths to explore.

Camping Les Granges - Grolejac

Camping les Granges is a delightful campsite, awarded 'three red tents' by Michelin. Our spacious emplacements are grouped amidst ten acres of terraced parkland which is like a well kept garden - a maze of flowering bushes and shrubs with willows lining the banks of the small stream.

The oak beamed bar and excellent restaurant are housed in old ivy clad buildings - all very different from the superb modern pool complex with its swimming pools and three waterchutes! The bar terrace, overlooking the pool, is an ideal spot for listening to live music in high season and for sipping one of the delicious cocktails on offer. The active can hire a bicycle or put on their boots to explore the Canvas walking and cycling routes.
