Sequoia Parc offers a striking first impression with an entrance way bedecked with colourful flower borders leading to a Bastille-style reception. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers and vineyards, this is a delightful 'Castels et Camping' site, which offers a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The spacious and sunny emplacements are laid out in the grounds of Château de la Josephtrie whose outbuildings have been tastefully restored and are home to the inviting bar and restaurant. The waterpark, surrounded by palm trees, offers the ideal location to laze in the sun and children will love the colourful clown fountain feature in their pool. Hire bikes and head off site to explore the quiet country roads, ideal for cyclists of all ages.

Our Comfort Plus mobile homes are ideal for larger families or for 2 couples sharing. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin (a drop down bunk sleeps an extra child on some campsites), plus an open plan living area with dining table and sofas that convert into an extra bed.

Our 2-bedroomed Select mobile homes are ideal if you are travelling as a larger family or have older children. For added privacy, the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the accommodation, each with its own en-suite facilities. The roomy, open plan living area offers a comfy sofa, dining table and chairs, plus fully equipped kitchen area.

There are 3 bedrooms, a shower room with toilet and sink, plus a roomy, open plan living area with comfy sofas and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The Select Plus represents real luxury, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The spacious living area offers a comfy sofa (which easily converts into an extra double bed) plus coffee table and stereo, as well as a separate dining space, complete with dining table and chairs. The fully-equipped kitchen has the added luxury of a dishwasher, plus fridge-freezer and microwave.

Local Area Finding Sequoia Parc
From the north*
Frome Rochefort follow signs for Royan and Ile d'Oleron peage.
Follow these onto the D733 and over Viaduc de Charente.
Continue along the D733 for about 6km and then take the turn-off for Ile d'Olerone on the D123.
Continue along this road for 9.5kms and you will see a turning to the left on to the D241:E1, direction St Just-Luzac.
After 2kms there is a right hand turn, direction Chateau de la Josephtrie, Sequoia Parc is 2.5kms down here on the right.
From the South
From the A10 follow th peage to junction 35, turning off in the direction of Saintes.
Follow signs for Royan, Ile d'Oleron, Angouleme, onto first the N137 then the N150.
You will branch to the right onto the D728, direction Marennes, Ile d'Oleron. Follow this for around 30kms, direction Ile d'Oleron, Marenees.
This will bring you into the village of St Just-Luzac and at the junction for Chateau de la Josephtrie turn right; the campsite is just up here on the left.
From La Rochelle Airport
On leaving the airport join the N137, which bypasses the city, following signs for Pochefort.
At Rochefort, follow directions from the north as above*.

The local Area around Sequoia Parc
The small town of St Just-Luzac is under a mile from the campsite. Nearby Marennes (3mls) is known as the oyster capital of France and has a safe and sheltered beach, the nearest to the site, and is particularly good for young children. Marennes has a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops.
Luna Park is an amusement park located between La Tremblade and La Palmyre, with a good range of rides to appeal to all. From La Rochelle (35mls) take a boat trip to the islands of Re, Oleron and Aix, or rent a flat-bottomed boat to spend the day exploring the marshlands of La Venice Vert
