Camping la Yole, set amid the forest that adorns the coast, is a delightful, well-run family campsite with excellent facilities. The site is laid out in a woodland glade of pine and poplars with shrubs everywhere - the reception is festooned with colourful geraniums.
Relaxing is easy here, most of our emplacements are surrounded by hedges, offering privacy and shade from the hot Vendee sun. The pristine pool complex is popular with children and boasts a large swimming pool, a children's pool, waterslide, a heated indoor pool and a jacuzzi. Overlooking the pool is the spacious and welcoming restaurant and the tempting ice cream bar. Family entertainment is provided in high season and includes discos and magic shows.

Spacious Maxi Tent - Sleeps 5-6
Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.
Kitchen
4 ring cooker, with grill and fridge with ice box. Crockery and cutlery is provided.
Living room
Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.
Bedrooms
Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.
Bathroom
Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

Comfort Plus mobile home - Sleeps up to 6
Our Comfort Plus mobile homes are ideal for larger families or for 2 couples sharing. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin (a drop down bunk sleeps an extra child on some campsites), plus an open plan living area with dining table and sofas that convert into an extra bed.

Select (2 bed) mobile home - Sleeps up to 6
Our 2-bedroomed Select mobile homes are ideal if you are travelling as a larger family or have older children. For added privacy, the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the accommodation, each with its own en-suite facilities. The roomy, open plan living area offers a comfy sofa, dining table and chairs, plus fully equipped kitchen area.

Local Area Finding Camping la Yole
From the North;
follow signs for Nantes and Bordeaux.
As you approach Nantes, join the large ring road (peripherique).
*Exit the Peripherique south of Nantes, joining the A801 motorway (blue signs) for Bordeaux and La Rochelle.
After approx. 5kms, exit the motorway at junction 1 (no tolls for this short section of motorway), direction La Roche-sur-Yon (D178 green signs).
At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit direction Challans (well signposted). The D178 turns into the D117 after a few kilometres.
As you approach Machecoul, take the 3rd exit off the roundabout (D95) still following for Challans.
Just before arriving in Challans follow signs for St Jean de Monts.
You will exit onto a large roundabout on the outskirts of St Jean, following signs for St Hilaire de Riez and St Gilles Croix-de-Vie.
After about 5 minutes you will arrive in the small village of Orouet.
As you come into Orouet there is a white hotel (Oasis Hotel) on your right. Turn right here ** (Avenue des Epines) and after around 500 metres the site is signposted on your left.
From the South;
from St Gilles , follow the D38 towards Jean de Monts.
After 6.5km you will reach le Pissot.
Turn left, direction Orouet and St Jean.
As you go through Orouet you come to a 30km/h zone, shortly after this turn left at the Oasis Hotel and follow from**.
From Nantes Airport;
follow signs for Peripherique Sud to join the Nantes ring road.
Once on it, follow from *.

The local Area around Camping la Yole
La Yole nestles less than three miles from the buzzing seaside town of St Jean-de-Monts, which offers a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The sheltered sandy beach of Merlin Plage is a brisk 25 minute walk (5 minute drive) along the main road from site.
Visit the Oceanile water theme park and the Sealand aquarium; both a 45 minute drive from the site at Ile de Noirmoutier. A few minutes drive will take you to the sandy beach at Sion-sur-l'Ocean where children will adore exploring the rocky coves and rock pools.
