Camping la Pergola is nestled in a land of lakes and mountains, forests and waterfalls. Set on the edge of a lake and surrounded by woodland hills, this family-run site has all the ingredients for an active holiday. Laze on the sandy lakeside beach, or canoe, sail, windsurf or take a pedalo out on the warm waters.
The wide terrace that surrounds the two pools is a great place to unwind. The green emplacements are set on steep terraces up the hillside and are partially protected from the sun by mature trees and hedges. The site offers an extensive animation programme with plenty of activities, while off site you can use the Canvas walking and cycling guides to explore the magnificent countryside.

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

4 ring cooker, with grill and fridge with ice box. Crockery and cutlery is provided.
Living room
Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.
Bedrooms
Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.
Bathroom
Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

A natural choice for those new to mobile home living, they have 2 bedrooms with seating in the lounge/dining area that easily converts into an extra bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, plus shower room and separate toilet.

Local Area Finding Camping la Pergola
From the north or south on the A39:
Leave the Autoroute at junction 8 for Lons-le-Saunier (N78).
At Lons-le-Saunier, head in the direction of Geneva/Pontarlier.
About 2km (1.2miles) after the railway station, turn right at the roundabout and go under the railway bridge.
Turn left at the next roundabout in the direction of Champagnole on the D471. Follow this road for about 21km (12 miles) until you turn right onto the D27, just over the bridge in Pont-de-Navoy.
Continue on this road and the campsite is on your left after 5km (3miles).

The local Area around Camping la Pergola
Camping la Pergola sits on the northern banks of Lac de Chalain, a ten minute drive from the rural village of Doucier. Sitting on the banks of the River Herisson, it offers a few small restaurants and bars and many woodland trails to explore on foot, bicycle or horseback. There is direct access from site to a lakeside beach, with a wide variety of watersports.
The Cirque et Grottes de Baume (9mls) is a glaciated canyon which leads to an amazing system of caves and underground lakes. The Château d’Arlay (20mls) has much to explore including a castle and a beautiful park.
