Camping Lac de Panthier is ideally situated in a broad valley, amongst rolling hills. This is a small and simple site, surrounded by rich woodland, where you often spot red kites and other birds of prey in the skies. At the heart of the site is a lake, where you can try out canoeing, or enjoy a spot of fishing. There is a pool complex here, with three pools and four waterslides, and also an indoor pool with sauna. Try a tempting beef bourguignon or coq au vin, washed down with a fine burgundy in the bright restaurant with views over the lake, or simply enjoy a drink on the outdoor terrace of the bar. If you feel energetic, hire some bikes and take the opportunity to explore this beautiful corner of France.

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

4 ring cooker, with grill and fridge with ice box. Crockery and cutlery is provided.

Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.

Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.

Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

Local Area Finding Camping Lac de Panthier
Leave the A6 at the Pouilly-en-Auxois exit and then turn right in the direction of Arnay-le-Duc, to cross back over the motorway you have just exited.
Turn left on the D977 towards Bligny-sur-Ouche and Beaune.
After about 3km (2 miles) there are crossroads, which direct you into Vandenesse-en-Auxois to the left.
Continue into the village, cross the canal and leave the village on the same road.
About 1.5km (1 mile)from the village the road takes a sharp right turn across a little bridge.
Just before this turn, there is a small road, which leads off to the left, signed to Lac de Panthier.
Take this road and the campsite is a few hundred metres down here on the left.

The local Area around Camping Lac de Panthier
Lac de Panthier is located close to the small village of Vandenesse and around a four mile drive from the Burgundy town of Pouilly-en-Auxois. This is a popular tourist destination, home to one of the largest man made canal tunnels. You will find a good range of amenities here, including supermarkets and an excellent range of restaurants. Dijon, the capital of Burgundy, is a 21 mile drive from site.
Catch a steam train from Bligny-sur-Ouche (7mls), for a trip through the beautiful countryside of the Ouche valley. Visit the zoo and leisure park of l’Auxois, a 20 minute drive away, and a popular day out for young families.
