Camping Château Boisson is a quality 'Castels' site which is situated in an ideal location for discovering the Ardeche. Set on a steep hillside, and awarded a 'three red tent' rating by Michelin, the facilities on this small site are housed in the buildings and courtyard of the old chateau.
There is a swimming pool with waterslide and paddling pool, plus a heated indoor pool, as well as tennis courts and a sports area for those feeling more active. The delightful restaurant is popular with both tourists and locals alike. There is an attractive terrace perfect for al fresco dining, while the enthusiastic staff run an entertainment programme in high season, including discos, quizzes and cabaret evenings.

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

4 ring cooker, with grill and fridge with ice box.
Crockery and cutlery is provided.
Living room
Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.
Bedrooms
Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.
Bathroom
Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

Our Comfort Plus mobile homes are ideal for larger families or for 2 couples sharing. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin (a drop down bunk sleeps an extra child on some campsites), plus an open plan living area with dining table and sofas that convert into an extra bed.

Our 3-bedroomed Select mobile homes are very spacious. They offer a comfortable living space that is ideal if you are travelling with friends or extended family. There are 3 bedrooms, a shower room with toilet and sink, plus a roomy, open plan living area with comfy sofas and a fully-equipped kitchen.

Travelling from the north and south on the A7:
Take the Bollène exit and take the D994 to Pont St. Espirit.
Head south along the N86 to Bagnols sur Cèze.
At the roundabout, turn right on the D6 towards Alès.
After 35km (22mls) turn right on the D7 towards Brouzet les Alès.
Keep following this road towards Barjac on the D7 passing Brouzet & Navacelles. The turning for the site is right from this road and just after the turning for Boisson.

The local Area around Camping Chateau de Boisson
Chateau de Boisson is located in the pretty hamlet of Boisson from where there are walking routes into the hills. St Ambroix (10mins drive) is a pleasant market town and the starting point for canoe trips along the river. The nearest main town is Alès (20mins drive) where you will find a good choice of facilities. There is a river beach at St Denis, three miles away.
Take a spectacular drive through the Gorges de l'Ardèche from Pont d'Arc to St Martin. Between these two points a corniche road gives spectacular views plummeting into a limestone gorge carved through the Bas Vivarais by the waters of the Ardèche. Make a day of it at the Pont du Gard (24mls), an outstanding Roman aqueduct and bridge spanning the Gardon valley.
