Bonne Anse Plage, located just 600m from the beach, is ideal for a family holiday. The emplacements are scattered amongst fragrant pine trees, which provide welcome shade from the sun. The facilities are grouped together at the site entrance and include a fabulous swimming pool with colourful twisting slides and a separate pool for the children.
Enjoy a meal on the terrace of the restaurant before retiring to the bar, where discos are held twice a week in high season. Active holidaymakers will enjoy the impressive sports facilities on offer, including a multi sport area and an impressive 18-hole mini golf course. If you want to venture further afield, why not hire a bike on site and head into the forest, where there are many cycle paths to explore.

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.
Bedrooms
Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.

Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

Comfort Plus mobile home - Sleeps up to 6
Our Comfort Plus mobile homes are ideal for larger families or for 2 couples sharing. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin (a drop down bunk sleeps an extra child on some campsites), plus an open plan living area with dining table and sofas that convert into an extra bed.

Select (2 bed) mobile home - Sleeps up to 6
Our 2-bedroomed Select mobile homes are ideal if you are travelling as a larger family or have older children. For added privacy, the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the accommodation, each with its own en-suite facilities. The roomy, open plan living area offers a comfy sofa, dining table and chairs, plus fully equipped kitchen area.

From Rochefort,
pick up signs for Royan and Ile d’Oleron peage.
Follow these onto the D733 and over Viaduc de Charente.
Continue along the D733 for about 6km then take the turn off for Ile d’Oleron on the D123.
After about 12km this road joins the D728, direction Ile d’Oleron and Marennes. Keep going straight on, over a set of traffic lights, until you reach a roundabout with a large boy on it.
Take the second exit in the direction of La Tremblade (D728E).
Follow for about 6km, crossing the Seudre estuary, until you reach a roundabout.
Take the second exit towards Palmyre Zoo (D25), continue for about 4.5km until you reach another roundabout.
Take the first exit, towards Diree (D268) and continue for 8km, passing through Diree and following signs for La Palmyre and La Côte Sauvage.
Pass by several campsites, and when you reach a roundabout take the second exit towards the zoo.
After approx. 3km you will reach another roundabout where you need to take the first exit sign posted Côte Sauvage.
The site is 2km along on the left.
From La Rochelle Airport,
join the by-pass following directions for Rochefort.
When you reach Rochefort, go round the bypass (D733), then follow the directions detailed above.
From Bordeaux,
pick up the A10, direction Saintes.
At junction 37 leave the A10, heading for Royan on the D730.
When you get to Royan pick up signs for Palmyre Zoo (D25), keep following these until you see the zoo itself.
Pass the zoo and head into Palmyre, at the roundabout take the exit direction Côte Sauvage.
The site is along this road on the left after 2km.

The local Area around Bonne Anse Plage
Bonne Anse Plage is located a mile from the popular resort of La Palmyre. Here you will find an excellent choice of bars and restaurants and the popular zoo. The site is a 600m walk (10 mins) around the bay to the sandy beach at La Palmyre. The beach is gently shelving and ideal for young families. The large town of Royan is a 10 mile drive away.
The zoo at La Palmyre is a must see. There are over 1,500 animals housed here in their natural habitat. The aquarium in La Rochelle (53mls) is a popular day trip for families. Children of all ages will enjoy a boat trip from Royan to La Tremblade or Fouras.
