Local Area Finding Des Menhirs - Eurocamp
From Auray:
(If approaching from the east, do not take the first 'La Trinite' exit - the D28 to Crach)
Turn off the N165 on to the D768 towards 'La Trinite-sur- Mer/Carnac/Quiberon'.
As you leave the roundabout you will pass a 'Magic Surf' shop on the right hand side.
Continue along the D768 for about 4 miles until you come to a roundabout.
Take the left exit sign posted 'Carnac' and follow this road along until you come to a series of standing stones on your right-hand side.
Carry straight ahead and straight over a roundabout heading towards the old town in front of you.
Before you approach the old town turn left following signs for 'La Trinite-sur-Mer', 'Les Plages' and 'Tumulus St. Michel'.
Follow this road for 200 yards until you come to a set of traffic lights.
Continue straight across the set of traffic lights along this residential road until you come to roundabout.
Take the 2nd exit and follow this road until you come to a T-junction (passing 'Cyclo Tours' on your left-hand side).
Turn left at this junction (there is a green sign in front of you directing you to 'Camping Des Menhirs') and carry straight on.
Take the 2nd turning to the left again sign posted 'Des Menhirs' down the road called 'Allee St. Michel' and continue to the bottom of the road.
You will see 'Camping Les Menhirs' directly in front of you.
NB. Please use caution when crossing the junction as oncoming vehicles are often obstructed by parked cars.

400 breeding animals from the 5 continents living in semi liberty in pleasant wooded surroundings. Approximately a 2 hour visit. Less known animals such as yak, buffalo & camels. Reserve des Marais de Sene
This nature reserve was created in 1996 and extends over 410 hectares of land. This reserve is of international importance for supporting the reproduction of migratory birds. Four observatories with telescopes allow visitors to watch the birds.

The Museum presents a beautiful collection of models of ships & memorabilia related to the oceans.
Musee de Prehistoire de Carnac
This museum was created in 1882 and is renowned as having one of the best exhibitions of archeology and prehistory. With a number of permanent and temporary exhibitions there is plenty to see in a visit.
