Camping les Granges is a delightful campsite, awarded 'three red tents' by Michelin. Our spacious emplacements are grouped amidst ten acres of terraced parkland which is like a well kept garden - a maze of flowering bushes and shrubs with willows lining the banks of the small stream.
The oak beamed bar and excellent restaurant are housed in old ivy clad buildings - all very different from the superb modern pool complex with its swimming pools and three waterchutes! The bar terrace, overlooking the pool, is an ideal spot for listening to live music in high season and for sipping one of the delicious cocktails on offer. The active can hire a bicycle or put on their boots to explore the Canvas walking and cycling routes.

Our Canvas Maxi Tent sleeps up to 6, and is the ideal choice for a true camping holiday experience. With its unique and spacious design, it is a great opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts. The Maxi Tent is fully equipped with everything that you need for a great self-catering camping holiday, 21st century-style.

4 ring cooker, with grill and fridge with ice box.
Crockery and cutlery is provided.
Living room
Spacious living area with side awning that can be rolled up (access may be restricted on some campsites), ideal for alfresco living on your camping holiday.
Bedrooms
Double room and second twin room that can be divided by a curtain. Fully, sprung beds. Double room has wardrobe rail with captive coat hangers.
Bathroom
Our campsites all offer toilet and shower facilities, located a short walk from our tent emplacements.

Classic mobile home - Sleeps up to 6
Our Classic mobile homes offer all the comforts of home at a very reasonable price. A natural choice for those new to mobile home living, they have 2 bedrooms with seating in the lounge/dining area that easily converts into an extra bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, plus shower room and separate toilet.

Our Comfort Plus mobile homes are ideal for larger families or for 2 couples sharing. There are 2 bedrooms, a double and a twin (a drop down bunk sleeps an extra child on some campsites), plus an open plan living area with dining table and sofas that convert into an extra bed.

Our 2-bedroomed Select mobile homes are ideal if you are travelling as a larger family or have older children. For added privacy, the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the accommodation, each with its own en-suite facilities. The roomy, open plan living area offers a comfy sofa, dining table and chairs, plus fully equipped kitchen area.

Local Area Finding Camping Les Granges
From the north (Souillac)
follow signs to Sarlat along the D703.
After approximately 17.5km (11 miles) branch off to the left (still the D703) passing through Aillac towards Carsac-Aillac.
After 3.5km (just over 2 miles), turn left onto the D704, signposted for Grolejac and Gourdon.
Continue along this road, crossing the river, until you reach Grolejac.
*As you drive through Grolejac you will pass a 'Geant Casino' supermarket on your right.
Take the right turning just after the roundabout.
**Follow this road under a bridge (The road is very narrow, so beware of approaching traffic) and then turn immediately left.
The campsite is 50m along, on your left.
From the south,
take exit 56 off the A20 and follow signs for Grolejac on the D704.
Continue into town and turn left just before the roundabout then follow directions as above from**.
From Bergerac Airport,
follow signs to Bergerac, then follow signs to Sarlat on the D660.
After approximately 60km (37.5 miles), you will reach the town of Beynac.
From Beynac take the D703 to La Roque Gageac and keep following this road to Carsac Aillac from where you can turn right towards Grolejac on the D704. Follow from *

The local Area around Camping Les Granges
This site is around half a mile from the river Dordogne and the pretty village of Grolejac. You can swim or paddle from the shallow shingle beaches or take a canoe trip down river. There is a reservoir a 15 minute walk from site where you can try windsurfing and hire pedalos
Take to the water on a canoe trip down the river, passing through valleys and gorges, overlooked by dramatic castles and ancient caves. Trips can be organised at various points along the river. At les Grottes de Lacave, less than an hours drive, take a little train through a series of underground caves and caverns where you will be amazed by the striking special effects.
